The MBA department was established in the year 2006 to impart quality education, research, training and consultancy in the arena of management education. The students are groomed as total persons to encounter the tough terrains of a corporate citself as a modern day GURUKUL imparting values embellished with positive attitudes, team work, leadership and communication suitably energized to face the challenges of a technology driven work environment and at the same time contribute to the social governance. The MBA programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India and is affiliated to the University of Madras. The focus of the curriculum is to promote professional skills development and individual and leadership development that are needed to succeed in a competitive global environment. The MBA course structure includes a total of thirteen core papers, two interdisciplinary electives, six specialization papers, four soft skill courses, one summer project (end of second semester) and an extensive project in the area of specialization (fourth semester).
