Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET) recently hosted an insightful workshop on Cyber Security in collaboration with Think Next for B.Tech (CSE), MCA, and BCA students. The event aimed to equip students with crucial knowledge about cybersecurity threats and preventive measures.
Cybersecurity expert Mr. Balram from Think Next led the session, explaining the fundamentals of cyber threats and real-world hacking scenarios. He demonstrated live examples, showing how cybercriminals can exploit vulnerabilities to hack into mobile devices, making students aware of potential risks.
In addition to the interactive session, an online test was conducted for students as part of the selection process for an upcoming four-week training program.
Dr. Naveen Dhillon appreciated the efforts of Er. Bharti (TPO) and Er. Pankaj Bassi (Placement Coordinator) for successfully organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of such workshops in enhancing students’ technical skills and career prospects.
The workshop proved to be a great learning opportunity, sparking students’ interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
