The festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at the RIET Campus. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Mrs. Manpreet Kaur Bhogal (Chairperson, REC), Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt (Director, REC), Dr. Naveen Dhillon (Principal, RIET), Dr. Gurpreet Kaur (Principal, RIMAS), and Mrs. Mandeep Kaur (Principal, RIHSR), along with faculty members, staff and students.

The celebrations began with a traditional Saraswati Puja, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and learning. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual fervor as prayers and hymns were recited. After that Prasad was distributed among staff and students.

Following the puja, a kite flying competition was organized among the students, symbolizing the joy and vibrancy of spring. The sky was adorned with colorful kites as participants displayed their skills and enthusiasm.

Adding to the festive spirit, students and staff showcased their energy and cultural vibrancy through dance performances, making the celebration even more lively and memorable.

On this occasion, Mrs. Manpreet Kaur Bhogal ( Chairperson REC) extended her heartfelt wishes to each one present on the occasion. This festival, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, symbolizes the pursuit of wisdom, knowledge, and new beginnings. It is a time to embrace learning, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of spring.
