National Sports Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at the RIET Campus. The event featured both basketball and chess competitions, drawing participants from the RIET and RIMAS institutions.

The highlight of the day was the basketball match between the teams of RIET and RIMAS. RIET emerged victorious, securing the first position in a thrilling game. The RIET basketball team, including Lovepreet Singh, Diljit Singh, Bhawan, Karan Vir, Jashan Deep, Rohan, Harman, Harsh, Manvir, Anuraag, Manav, Nikhil, and Paras, played exceptionally well to clinch the win. The RIMAS team, consisting of Harsh CP, Vishal, Saawan, Kailash, Jasmeet, Arsh, Rajjeet, and Manpreet, put up a strong fight, securing the second position. The basketball tournament was expertly organised by Ms. Priyanshee, the Sports Incharge, along with Er. Pankaj Bassi.

In addition to basketball, a chess competition was held, overseen by Mr. Jaspreet Singh, the Head of the Department of Applied Science. The competition saw skilled participation from RIET & RIMAS students Barshdeep, Jatin Bhatia,Pankaj Kumar( WINNERS), Harman, Arzoo, Jagjeet Kumar, Paras Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Jakhu, Lovejoot Singh, Gaurav, Neeraj Basra, and Jatin Chhcelora.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Naveen Dhillon, Principal of RIET; Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Principal of RIMAS; and Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Principal of RIHSR, along with all staff members and students, making the day a memorable celebration of sportsmanship and talent.
