The Training & Placement Department of the RIET Campus, in collaboration with Think Next Mohali, recently organized an intensive workshop on Flutter, a popular open-source UI software development toolkit. The workshop was targeted at students from the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programs.
The workshop, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, provided hands-on experience in building cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter. Experts from Think Next Mohali guided the students through the basics of Flutter, its components, and advanced features such as state management, API integration, and deploying apps on different platforms.
The students actively participated in coding sessions, where they had the opportunity to work on real-time projects, thus enhancing their practical knowledge and boosting their confidence in app development.
Dr. Naveen Dhillon ( Principal RIET ) congratulated The Training & Placement Department head Er. Bharti, emphasized the importance of such workshops in equipping students with the latest technological skills, making them more competitive in the job market. This initiative is part of RIET Campus's ongoing efforts to provide students with industry-relevant skills and prepare them for successful careers in the ever-evolving field of technology.
On this occasion Mr. Jaspreet Singh ( HOD APPLIED SCIENCE), with placement coordinator Er. Pankaj Bassi, Er Manpreet Kaur & Mrs. Deeksha was also present.
