Lohri is one of India’s main festivals to be celebrated with great pomp and energy across different regions of the country in January. In North India, and predominantly Punjab, this harvesting festival begins the year’s festivities with a tribute to the farmers for their hard toil and labor that enables us to live prosperous lives.

The celebrations commenced with the ignition of the holy bonfire and offering of food items by Hon’ble Chairperson REC Mrs. Manpreet Kaur Bhogal, Director REC, Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt along with Co-Director Ravneet Bhogal Kalra REC. The event was also graced by the presence of RIET Principal, Dr. Naveen Dhillon, RIMAS Principal, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, and RIHSR Principal, Mrs.Mandeep Kaur. The celebration was attended by the HOD of various departments and faculty and staff members along with students.
