Free Eye Checkup Camp held at RIET

Free Eye Care, Checkup and Operations Camp at RIET Campus Phagwara was organized at Ramgarhia Institute of Health Sciences and Research by Youth Voice Foundation, under the able leadership of Er. Gagandeep Singh Dhatt in association with Ramgarhia Educational Council, Phagwara, SNJ Charitable Trust and Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana. Sh. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, MLA, Phagwara, Sh. Sukhpal Singh Khaira, MLA, Bholath were the chief guests on the occasion, while Mrs. Manpreet Kaur Bhogal, Chairperson, Ramgarhia Educational Council and Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt, Director, Ramgarhia Educational Institutions were the guests of honour. Free Eye Checkup was done for around 300 patients in the camp and 22 of them were further referred for cataract surgery. The expenses for surgery, post operative care, medicines and glasses will be borne by the Youth Voice Foundation in the service of humanity. Free meals, tea and snacks were arranged for the patients who were examined at the camp. Sh. Sukhpal Singh Khaira appreciated the services of the foundation towards humanity and exhorted the youth of Punjab to work for their homeland instead of migrating abroad.
